Bill's HISTORY ::

Mission Prayer & Praise home (orphanage) in Moroto, Uganda.

In November of 2007 the Lord told me:

"Build Me an Orphanage for My Karamojong Bush Children."

In December, He told me to go there in January of 2008, so I showed up, and God went to work. I came back with property I did not ask for, Praise His Holy Name!

I have now made several trips, and we are now preparing to actually start building. The first building will be a 50 by 42 foot church. We are also planning for five villages of twenty cottages, that are intended to house approximately 1,400 children. Each cottage will have a cookhouse, a latrine, washhouse, and from one to two acres of land to use as a garden. They will be powered by solar cells, and each village will have a water well, a soccer field, and a primary school.

I feel the Lord has been telling us to also build a hospital, starting first as a clinic with an emergency room, lab, pharmacy, a ward with four beds, and three examinations rooms, increasing in size and capability as the Lord enables.

We are also planning on running a two hundred acre farm for staple crops, and to raise cattle, sheep, chickens and rabbits to help support the program. We will also maintain a fifty-acre forest to help replenish trees that have been cut down to use as firewood.

In the future, we hope to build an airport to help with transportation for visitors, as well as to help meeting the needs of the hospital patients. We look to the Lord for provision in accomplishing these tasks.

Our last trip, which began in the middle of 2009 and ended in the Spring of 2010, we were able to establish a school to serve first, second, and third graders, which already has over one-hundred-twenty students enrolled! We also established a church, presently meeting under a tree, called Rupa Christian Fellowship We have from thirty-five to well over two-hundred attendees coming to church, depending on the weather and other factors.

Blessings!
